Think about it. When a nation has more debt than savings, it makes the debt seem smaller, as each dollar is worth less. In fact, an average schmuck with $30,000 of credit card debt may be able to pay that off for the price of a few tanks of gas in the near future.

Maybe he was right after all. Throwing money down a war hole, giving no-bid contracts to buddies, profiting from gouging Joe Blow to heat his house... pure genius.

Silent Auction

The best part of being at a silent auction was that it was run by a mime. The theatrical rendition of "dolla-dollar gimmie dollar, right here to the woman in the green shirt, do I hear $30 dollas" was amazing.
