New Baby

My friend just had a baby a month ago. They trust us and like us so they asked us if we'd babysit while they were at a function.

The baby was so cute and little that he would fit into a shoe box.

We had to let him out because he started crying.

Pope Should Say What He Means

The pope pissed off 1/3 of the world's peoples by stating that the teachings of Mohammed and Islam were based on violence. Then he has since apologized saying that "he regrets that it caused problems" but never really apologized for saying it. In fact, most Christians truly back the pope's interpretations. They have to BY DEFINITION to be Christians! That is because, in their hearts, they think that everyone devoted to Islam will burn in hell and not be brought into the Kingdom of God. Ask any Christian! By definition the Islamic peoples are infidels and will not be welcome in eternal life, a place ruled by an eternally kind man that forgives.

Likewise, the Islamic practitioners certainly think that Christians have it all wrong and that there is no way that they will be welcome into the eternal Kingdom of Allah until they renounce their god, recognize Allah as the only God and Mohammed as his primary prophet.

Does anyone else think it odd that we stand on the cusp of World War III, with 1/3 of the world hating another 1/3 because they pay homage to the wrong invisible man?

God damn it, we are going to all die in terror attacks and bombings (from both sides) because of a fight over the magical fake Kingdom of the Imagination that you think we go to after death. What a crock of shit.

And of course, in the eyes of the religious on both sides the atheists are the true infidels. Non-belivers sit and watch religious peoples fight about imaginary beings and places that they believe in so strongly, that they are willing to condemn and kill for them. Of course, condemn and kill because that would please the loving, kind, forgiving invisible man in the imaginary place.

Religion is a mental illness, a sickness that sets man against man, culture against culture, nation against nation-- over a belief. Ironically, it will bring us not to everlasting life, but to a premature death. It will ultimately sterilize "God's Creation" with radioactivity, chemicals and hatred. Why? Because "Thou Shalt Not Kill" and other rules they hold so sacred.

So I suggest to the Pope, Ayatollahs, Mullahs and all of the world's holy people that you not pull your punches. Don't claim to respect others' religons, because you don't. If you believe that only you know the key to eternal life and only you will be saved, then others must be wrong, dead wrong. Let them know that, preach it from the highest mountain! Remind us that we'll be cast into fire and brimstone for eternity because god loves us so...

If we all collectively start listening to what religious types are telling us perhaps we'll start thinking and discount them. Therein we may avoid further escalating world conflict.

E.coli in bagged spinach? People in eight states have shown symptoms of E. coli infection. Interesting.

Can somebody riddle me this... ? How does an infectious pathogen contained in the intestine of cows, end up in bags of spinach, distributed all over the country? Sure, they might use manure, that could be a source, but that stuff has to be washed etc or else it would grow in the bag!

Something is weird here.

September 12 - A Day of Real Meaning

Yesterday was September 11, 2006, the five year anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon. The day was marked by contemplation and rememberance, reflection and introspection. Our leaders claimed that we are better now, stronger and more concerned about American ideals. They reminded us that we are better than the terrorists and that they have not affected anything.

Are they right? What happens on September 11 stays on September 11. It is symbolism and celebration, not reinforcing true American values. I think life is 10% what happens to you, 90% how you react to it. Are we better? Are we bigger? Do we stand for American values? Do we behave? WWJD?

Fuck. We blew it. The world was on our side and we over-reacted. Not only did we wander into an unwinnable war, we claimed victory after the first year with great audacity. People are still dying on both sides and every day we make the world more angry and polarized with the U.S. of A.

What can we do? If we spent 1% of the military budget feeding, immunizing and caring for people here and abroad there would be a lot less suffering. We could treat kids with a big old syringe full of USA vaccine emblazened with Old Glory. We could give starving children Lucky Charms and Pepsi and they could be fat like us.

Kindness and love are cheap to dispense. Hate and evil are expensive because each side has to spend more and make bigger boom-booms to outdo the other. We are in that escalation.

I think we will all change our minds after the nookuler bomb. At that point we finally might evaluate what is really important and what it really means to be a human and an American.

Lactaid Intolerant

Since I can't digest dairy my doctor suggested I try taking Lactaid.

I don't like milk. The last thing I want is it coming out of my nipples.

Another Prediction...

Aside from its function as a vector of lame musings from my tweaked head, this stupid blog has served as a billboard for some critical analyses of newsworthy individuals. On two separate occasions, both with the Runaway Bride Jennifer Walkljdkljnhf and with John Mark Karr I clearly profiled the situations long before anyone else did. Somehow my grasp of human tendencies is sharper than public perception, police hunches, the media and even the psychics.

The latest is the missing child Trenton Duckett. Trenton is 2, was put to bed at 7 pm by his mother in Leesburg FL. The mother and father are going through a bitter divorce. The mother had two friends over that night, male friends, one that is off to the military (according to her) and another that she has no idea where he is (according to her).

In my opinion, she knows exactly what happened. She refuses to use opportunities to use the media to describe her recent travels with the child and in fact, is very defensive and elusive about her answers. She gives no details as to her whereabouts the day of the alleged abduction. The media could be used to probe the public, ask if anyone saw anything strange. But she hides and dodges rather than assists. She has refused to take a polygraph, not that I would, but she is very defensive about it.

Prediction--- she will be arrested along with at least one of the the other men at her house that night, likely the one that has "gone missing". It is a means to insulate the child from a custody battle and deny the biological father access. It is a classical Central Florida lightheaded scheme.

MTV & Al Gore-- BULLSHIT!

Last week former Vice President and likely 2000 election winner Al Gore appeared on MTV's award show. Say what you like, this was political. He wants to build his image with the MTV viewer, the young non-voter that did not support him then, and will never support him because he is a rich, connected, asshole that would shit on them in a heartbeat if it were politically expedient.

If that's not enough reason to hate Al Gore, let's examine the irony of him being on MTV's awards. As I understand it, he spent a lot of time running down the laundry list of baggy-pantsed performers in attendance. He spoke of rappers like some crunked up 730 bobble head and waxed all ghetto and shit about today's dope music. Anything to win favor with the kids, heck, their vote is the same as the old banker's or the fake one installed into a computer by the RNC.

DON'T BE FOOLED!!!

Do you remember the PMRC? It was the Parents Music Research Center, a group founded by Tipper Gore, Al's wife. Their goal was to blacklist performers and stop the production and sale of their music. Blacklist is the appropriate term as the effort targeted primarily African-American artists. Check it out. Put in "Tipper, PMRC and 2-Live-Crew" into google and read for yourself.

If his wife's twisted efforts were successful those rappers would have never have even been in attendance. Their music would be banned and you would not be able to buy it. It was good ol' red state christian censorship in action!

Until there's an apology I don't buy it. Many great minds like Frank Zapppa, Dee Snider, John Denver and Jellow Biafra had to fight the well-financed PMRC with great efforts to keep your decisions unfettered and rescue freedom.
